2026-2027 Program Information

Objective: Establish a Leadership Keller program that cultivates community leaders, enhances local business engagement, and contributes to Keller Chamber of Commerce's mission of fostering economic growth and improving the quality of life for all residents.

Purpose of Leadership Keller

  • Community Leadership: Develop leaders who understand the unique challenges and opportunities within Keller.

  • Civic Engagement: Inspire participants to actively engage in civic and community initiatives.

  • Professional Growth: Equip participants with the skills to excel in leadership roles, both professionally and personally.

Application Dates:

Applications Open: Monday, April 20, 2026

Applications Close: Friday, July 3, 2026

Interview Dates:

  • Monday, July 13th, 9am - 12 pm

  • Thursday, July 16th, 3 pm - 6pm

  • Tuesday, July 21st, 11am-2 pm

  • Thursday, July 23rd, 9am-12pm

Notice of Class Acceptance: Friday, August 14, 2026

 

Tuition Due: Friday, Monday, September 15th

  • Tuition for GK Chamber Members is $950.

  • Tuition for non-GK Chamber members is $1,200.

  • LGK Retreat – Friday, September 25th

  • City Day – Thursday, October 8th

  • Healthcare Day – Friday, November 13th

  • County Day – Thursday, December 10th

  • Youth & Education Day – Friday, January 22nd

  • State Day – Thursday, February 18th 

  • Economic & Development Day – Friday, March 12th

  • Non-Profit Day – Friday, April 23rd

  • Presentation & Graduation Day – Saturday, May 8th

Program Cost, Class Size and Scholarships

🔹Program Cost: 

  • Tuition for GK Chamber Members is $950.

  • Tuition for non-GK Chamber members is $1,200.


🔹Number of Participants: The LGK program will select 15-20 participants for the inaugural class to ensure a high-quality, personalized experience.

🔹 Scholarships Available:  We are committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent participation. A limited number of partial scholarships will be available based on financial need and community impact.  More information forthcoming when the application process opens in May.

Target Participants

  • Emerging and established leaders with a passion for making a positive impact

  • Business owners & entrepreneurs looking to expand their influence

  • Nonprofit leaders & civic-minded individuals

  • Those interested in government, economic development, and community engagement

Participant Commitment

  • To graduate from LGK, participants must attend at least 7 out of 9 sessions and actively contribute to the group project.

  • Commit and attend the MANDATORY Teambuilding Retreat

  • Actively participate in discussions, workshops, and team.

  • Commit to the community service/final project to apply skills and knowledge in a meaningful way.
